Ride Etiquette

Ride Etiquette:

A few people have mentioned recently that we should have a refresher on Group Ride Etiquette. A Group Ride Information and Practice Session is in the works.

We don’t want anyone pushing themselves a little beyond their limitations/comfort as Riders. One thing that we’ve always said in the groups that I have belonged to is
“Ride your own Ride”

Basically, just because one person’s skill level has them carving corners and such doesn’t mean that everybody can or should do that. There are times when I am riding with somebody and I feel that they’re riding too aggressive for me. When that happens, I just pull back a bit and say have your fun. I’ll catch up with you at the end of the road. Let me know before you turn off of it by waiting or something.

We don’t want anyone to ever feel like they have to ride a certain way in order to ride along with someone else.

FYI/Reminder,

Even though there may be a ride on the Chapter Ride Schedule , there could also be people that meet as normal, at the A&W or the McDonald’s on their appropriate day.
